Hydro cyclone

Structure of hydro cylcone: Hydrocyclone has two exits in its axis. The smaller part at the bottom is called Reject and the denser part at the top is called Overflow. Hydrocyclones have an inlet pipe and an outlet, usually the size of the inlet pipe is smaller than the size of the outlet pipe so that the speed at the entrance to the hydrocyclone reaches its maximum. Under the cone of the cyclone, there is a sand catcher, where the sand particles separated from the water are collected in this part. Hydrocyclones are made up of a cylindrical and a conical part, where the water first enters the cylindrical part and is rotated by the pressure from the pump, and the particles enter the conical part and return to the lower part.
