Filters (sand, carbon, micron and disk)

In this system turbid water is passed through a bed containing sand and silica. By passing of this water through the sand bed, suspended particles are trapped between sand so the output water is almost free of suspended particles and turbidity. Sand filters are one of the best for reducing the concentration of suspended solid particles in water.
This cleaning method is done in the initial stages of industrial water treatment systems. Also, most of the time, after sand filters, a carbon filter is also used in the water purification process. For corrosive waters and wastes, in special applications, strainers made of fiberglass or stainless steel is supplied. Each filter has a piping network along with connections and a device valve for incoming and outgoing water, reverse washing, air discharge, pressure gauge and inspection valves to access the inside of the filter.
